These Rad Women Are Holding The Jobs We Want To Steal

From World Surf League commentator to CEO of the biggest snowboard company on the planet, here are the ladies who are holding down the jobs that are #careergoals.

Rosy Hodge, WSL Commentator And Host

Former professional surfer Rosy Hodge is the voice of the WSL. Rosy perfectly articulates all that we're feeling in the intense moments on tour. Whether it's the heartbreaking interviews of women losing the title raise or enthusiastically commenting on her friends' barrel rides, watching the WSL events wouldn't be the same without Rosy. Seeing the way her colleagues and surfers respect her professionalism and authority on camera is something we can all feel good about.

Donna Carpenter, CEO Of Burton Snowboards

A proud supporter of women in positions of authority and leadership, Donna Carpenter help build the wonderful brand that is Burton Snowboards, alongside her husband Jake. Donna has gone above and beyond the call of duty, making Burton Snowboards a place we would all want to work. In January 2017, after Donald Trump became the president, she allowed all of her employees to get a paid day off to join the Women's March. Basically working for Donna would be a dream come true.

Shannon Quirk, Host For WSL Big Wave World Tour

This woman never stops, and her adventures make us super envious. If there's a big wave breaking, Shannon is there. She's based on O'ahu but really, she's everywhere as a host for the WSL Big Wave World Tour. The UC Los Angeles graduate told Santa Cruz Waves, "Being a woman in sports, in general, can be frustrating at times. I feel more pressure to prove myself and my abilities, and to want to be professional on camera. Surfing is so male dominated that our voices and needs can go unnoticed.” We hear you, girl! By the way, Shannon rips!

Jessi Miley-Dyer, WSL Women's World Tour Commissioner

After retiring as a professional surfer on the ASP Tour (now WSL), Australian Jessi Miley-Dyer looked to the future. She earned her spot as the WSL Commissioner for the Women's World Tour, a job she does brilliantly. Whether the contest holds or runs, Jessi calls the shots!

Janna Irons, Freelancing While Living That #Vanlife

She was a professional longboard surfer and an editor of SURFER magazine... what to do next? Janna Irons met her now-husband, Johnny Stifter while working at SURFER magazine. He worked in the same building as her, as an editor at Powder magazine. It was an action sports match made in heaven. However, when the got engaged, they quit their jobs for the freelancing and van life, traveling around the country and immersing themselves in nature. Seriously, you should have been following them on Instagram, but there's always time to scroll back.
